Back to blog

Yes, yes... I know, lama tak update blog. Nak buat camno dik non oii... akak very the busy woman! Nak story apa pun tak tau cause lots happened since my last post. So let me start with the very obvious reason why I'm updating my blog... to show off the pictures I took on our recent visit to... Pulau Redang!! Yeah, baby, yeah... First up...

Redang Island vacation was a blast!

These are the little munchkins we dragged along on the trip. This was taken on our 3rd day there, so as you can see, they are a little tanned and berjelaga hehehe.

Kayu, tali dan air

This is my (pathetic?) attempt at creative landscape photography. Taken on the beach of the hotel where we stayed at. The water was so clear and blue, on the first day we arrived, my niece (who's visiting from America) said, "the water is so blue, it's like Coolade!". It's true, people... it's that blue in the deeper end!

Saya...

This is the photographer who went on a lone walk along the beach braving the mid-day sun because that was the only opportunity she had when everybody else was asleep. Bawak gear kat belakang macam pro photographer...I feel happenin' man!! This shot was taken by a boat boy whom I struck a conversation and walked with along the Pasir Panjang beach. Hehehe... suami wa jangan marah ok?

Boat afloat

Another attempt at landscape. You probably notice that the horizon is a little tilted. Photographer ni mata sparrow lah! A little more tilted and I'll spill the ocean. Or am I just being picky here?

That's all for now folks! Ada lagi gambar but time is not on my side at the moment. I have guests sleeping over. My parents and my eldest bro who's visiting from US with his 2 daughters. We're going balik kampung tomorrow :-)

Humaira's 4th Birthday

I can never be a pre-school teacher! No wonder they need 2 teachers for each class :-D

The alien with the big, fat camera just arrived. Only the alien's daughter would smile for her mummy heheh!
What is it with children and birthday cakes?
Happy birthday to youuu.....!
The teacher told the children that only Humaira is allowed to blow the candles. One boy probably thought "yeah right!" and blew anyway hahaha!
Yeay for Humaira!
Ehem! Mummy plak yang terlebih sengih. Why you kids so camera shy one?
The alien is finally leaving. Bye-bye!

Are you a fan of Hari Puttar?

This is probably old news, but I came across it somehow and thought I'd share it here. Kelakar la! Nasib baik the Bollywood film makers did not take action on our local producers of "Kabhi Qushry Kabhi Igam" *lol!*

Court delays Puttar film release
By Karishma Vaswani BBC News, Mumbai

A court in India has postponed the release of a film entitled Hari Puttar, after complaints from the makers of the blockbuster Harry Potter films.
Hollywood company Warner Bros has filed a lawsuit against all parties involved in the production and distribution of the Hari Puttar film.
It has been quoted as saying the the title of the Indian movie is confusing.
Mirchi Movies, the makers of the Bollywood children's film, have denied the accusations.
It told the BBC that India's Hari Puttar had nothing to do with the Harry Potter wizard movies, to which Warner Bros owns the rights.
Mirchi says that Hari is a popular Indian name, and Puttar means 'son' in Hindi and Punjabi.
The Indian film tells the story of a 10-year-old boy who moves to England with his family and becomes involved in a plan to save the world.
The Indian production house says the name of their film was registered in 2005.
But the legal proceedings mean that scheduled release of Hari Puttar has been postponed.
It was meant to hit cinema halls on Friday, but has now been pushed back to the end of this month.
